Before the bookings, the recognition, and the near-nonstop work, Oscar Ntege was a young photographer from Nakawuka with talent and no direction. Then Steve Jean from Fenon Records sent a Facebook message: “You have nice pictures.”

Over 15 years, Oscar built a commercial photography practice covering 600+ celebrity and brand projects. He won the Uganda Press Photo Awards. He was named Crown Prince of Fashion Photography at Abryanz 2017. He built a photography school that enrolled 35,000 students in 160 countries. Then he founded Brand 4:44. Then he wrote Hooksmith.
